Homburg Real Estate recognises the critical role that the property industry needs to play as we look to the future and embrace the issues of climate change and environmental sustainability.
We see part of our role when looking toward the impact of climate change as influencing our clients to actively support the development of the property industry’s knowledge and capability with regards to sustainability.
Wherever possible, we will share knowledge with our clients, customers and the public in accordance with current relevant information. 2008 saw the release of the Green Real Estate Guide. This is an introduction to the application of sustainability in the real estate industry with practical guides to improving existing buildings, developing new green buildings, obtaining green accommodation and reducing your personal footprint. Homburg Real Estate is in a direct position to effectively provide information to our clients to ensure that our footprint both now and in the future is relative to sustainability and a greener future.
We proactively support clients to improve the long term performance of their assets and tenancies and we will minimise the impact of our own operations with a conscience effort to educate our staff into greener office practices. We see this as our own Corporate Social Responsibility.
